About Us
Brian Patnode and Floyd Foster started BF Bodyworks in April 1995. Brian had recently graduated from Mid America Nazarene University and Floyd was in the process of relocating his family to the Olathe area from Sandwich, Illinois.
The partnership was a natural fit. Brian brought into the partnership his business background and Floyd brought his 10 years of collision repair experience. They both loved working around cars and trucks. They also shared something far more important than the love of cars; they shared a common philosophy of providing "only" quality repairs, outstanding customer service with honesty and integrity. It was their desire to build their business from repeat and referral customers based on outstanding customer satisfaction.
High customer satisfaction is just what they have been delivering. They soon outgrew their original facility after only two short years. They considered relocation to other surrounding communities but chose to keep their roots in the Olathe area. After a long search they were finally able to purchase the north building at their current location. It was the perfect spot, with easy access being close to I-35 and Santa Fe, and a car rental facility just across the street. What more could you ask?
BF Bodyworks continued to grow and in large part because of their ever growing repeat and referral customer base. It became obvious that if they were going to continue to provide excellent customer service and outstanding quality of repairs on a timely basis they needed more space. In December of 2002, they were able to purchase the building just to the south giving them almost twice the shop space. Now they could handle more repairs in a more efficient and effective manner.
Brian and Floyd are amazed how their business has grown in the last 13 years and each acknowledges that they owe their success to their loyal customers. BF Bodyworks continues to be forward thinking as they strive for opportunities to better serve the needs of their customers.
